Create and edit forms with AI
KyraForm has an AI assistant you chat with. It builds a form from a description, changes any part of an existing form when you ask, and answers questions about how a form works. The result is an ordinary form you can edit, so nothing is locked.
Available on Pro and above. Each plan includes a number of AI messages a month: 500 on Pro and 2,000 on Ultra. One message is one thing you send; the count resets on the first day of each month.
Create a form by chatting
Section titled “Create a form by chatting”- On the Dashboard, type into Describe a form and let AI draft it and select Generate. Or select Create form, describe it there and select Draft with AI.
- Describe the form in your first message, for example “Event registration: name, email, number of tickets, 500 INR per ticket through Razorpay, on two pages.”
- A draft appears in the preview beside the chat, with its questions, pages and any logic, calculations or payment.
- Keep asking for changes: “add a phone question after email”, “make it a quiz with a 60% pass mark”. Select Undo under a reply to take that change back, or Start over to begin again.
- Select Create form to save it and open it in the builder.
Nothing is saved until you select Create form.
Change a form by chatting
Section titled “Change a form by chatting”In the builder, select Ask AI at the bottom right. Type what you want changed and press Enter. The change appears on the canvas straight away, and the reply lists exactly what was changed and anything it could not do.
To take a change back, select Undo under the reply, or press Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac). A copy of the form is also saved to version history before every AI change.
You can also ask questions without changing anything: “why does the company question sometimes disappear?”, “when does this form close?”.
What you can ask for
Section titled “What you can ask for”| Part of the form | Examples |
|---|---|
| Questions | “Add a T-shirt size dropdown with S, M, L, XL”, “remove date of birth”, “move phone to the top”, “add a hidden field for utm_source” |
| Question settings | “Resume upload: PDF only, up to 2 MB”, “phone should default to India”, “show this YouTube video above question 3” |
| Checks | “Full name at least 3 characters”, “PAN must be valid”, “confirm email must match email”, “tickets between 1 and 10” |
| Logic | “Only show company if they are employed”, “make company required when employed is Yes”, “state choices depend on country” |
| Pages | “Split into 3 pages: personal, work, tickets”, “skip the work page if they are not employed”, “one question at a time” |
| Calculations | “Total = tickets × 1500 plus 18% GST, show it at the end”, “work out their age from the date of birth” |
| After submitting | “Thank-you message: See you there!”, “redirect to https://…”, “VIP ticket holders see a different ending” |
| Quizzes, polls and surveys | “Make this a quiz: Paris is correct, 10 points each, pass at 70%”, “make it an anonymous survey with progress” |
| Settings | “Close on 31 December at 6 pm”, “stop after 200 responses”, “email ops@yourcompany.com on each response”, “verify their email with a code” |
| Look | “Use the dark theme”, “add our logo https://… at the top” |
| Who can respond | “Only people with an @yourcompany.com Google account, once each” |
| Payments | “Charge 499 INR through Razorpay before they start”, “charge the total via Stripe after submitting” |
The assistant never sees or changes payment gateway keys, external-validation credentials, uploaded files or custom CSS. Add payment keys yourself in Settings → Payments.
Write a good request
Section titled “Write a good request”- Name the question. “Make phone required” works better than “make that field required” in a long form.
- Give the exact values. Choices, dates, amounts, email addresses and links are used as you write them. The assistant only uses addresses and links that appear in your message.
- One area at a time for big changes. Several small changes in one message are fine; for a large rework, send it in steps and check each one.
Always check AI output
Section titled “Always check AI output”AI is a fast first draft, not a final review. Before publishing:
- Read every question and option.
- Check Required and the validation rules.
- Test logic, page jumps and calculations in Preview.
- Run the publish check.
Don’t put passwords, personal data or confidential details in a message.
