Set up your organization

An organization is your workspace in KyraForm. Forms, responses, members, teams, roles, integrations and billing all belong to an organization, not to a person. One account can belong to several organizations, for example your company and a client’s.

The first time you sign in you see Choose your workspace. From there you can:

  • Accept an invitation: if someone already invited you, it’s listed under Pending invitations.
  • Open an organization you already belong to, under Your organizations.
  • Create a new organization: you become its administrator.
  1. On Choose your workspace, select Create a new organization.

  2. Fill in the details:

    FieldRequiredWhat it does
Organization nameYesShown in the app, on emails and on invitations. You can change it later in Organization settings.
Organization URLYesBecomes the first part of every public form link: app.kyraform.com/your-org/form-name. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. It’s suggested from the name and must not already be taken.
IndustryNoTechnology, Healthcare, Finance, Education, Retail, Manufacturing, Non-profit or Other. You can change it later.
  3. Select Create organization. You land on the Dashboard as the organization’s administrator.

When a teammate invites you, you get an email and the invitation appears under Pending invitations the next time you sign in.

  • Select Accept to join. The organization opens with the role your teammate chose for you.
  • Select Decline to remove the invitation. They can invite you again later.

Use the same email address the invitation was sent to. An invitation sent to you@company.com doesn’t appear if you sign in as you@gmail.com.

Select the workspace name at the top of the sidebar to open Switch workspace, then pick another organization. All organizations takes you back to the full list, and Create organization starts a new one. Everything on screen (forms, responses, members, billing) changes to that organization. Nothing is shared between organizations unless you copy it.

The person who creates an organization is its administrator and can do everything. People you invite get a role that decides what they see in the sidebar. For example, Members, Teams, Roles, Organization and Billing only appear for people allowed to manage them. See Organizations, teams & roles.
